DIRK DEVENPECK:

A warm face and warm heart are what you come to expect from the kind soul named Dirk. Darkly handsome, Dirk may seem shy or timid initially, but once you break the ice, you find a sparkling personality. Dirk is a smart, honest, yet reclusive guy that tends to be contemplative and quiet in most social settings. When a friend is chosen, however, it is for life--for keeps.

Dirk has two special individuals that account for much of his social life. Trystan, dreamy and popular, melted Dirk's cold exterior and ignited a giddy and virile affair. Friends for years, Dirk still recalls how Trystan always protected him and cared for them before they both confronted the love that had blossomed between them. Clara Bancroft, clearly a dear friend to Dirk, maintains a steady presence and closeness to Dirk and subsequently to Trystan De Graff. Clara's two best friends, Barton and Venus, also tend to tag along when Clara's about.

Dirk is the glue that binds the entire group together; everyone loves and respects him. When there is trouble, Dirk always finds a way to take advantage of the situation and minimize the necessary damages. He knows how to keep his cool. If you need someone to talk to, someone who really listens, Dirk is your man. Sometimes Dirk is hurt because he trusts others too easily. There are times when he resents all of the things that he does for others without receiving much in return. Easy-going, brave, and compassionate, Dirk is a precious gem in the world of Skelmata.
