Weirdwalkers (Take #3)

A glimpse at SKELMATA, the world of the Weirdwalkers.

Everyone has a knack. Here we have diverse group of talented tricksters: Trystan, Dirk, Clara, Venus, and Barton are the heart of Weirdwalkers. Trystan and Dirk fall in love at the Rokowon College of Arcane Arts. Dirk meets Clara at Rokowon and they feel an instant and strangely familiar connection(they are long-lost siblings, although they don't know it yet). Clara is a bookish introvert where Venus, her bestfriend, is the perfect compliment: a boy-crazy extravert who's always trying to find the perfect match for Clara. Barton and Trystan are friendly rivals at the top of their class, and warm-hearted Dirk is often the one who ameliorates the slough of their competitive-male conflicts.

Clara is secretly in love with Barton who is, in turn, secretly in love with Dirk. This unrequieted love triangle creates a cauldron of social mishaps and mayhem for everyone involved. Not to mention that Venus hates Barton too; once they were friends, but Barton ditched Venus at their high-school prom and never gave an explanation.

As seniors at Rokowon, the group is expelled for executing one of their renowned practical-joke illusions that goes so far as to render a fellow student comatose. Ashamed of themselves and thrown out by Rokowon, Trystan and his gang decide to enter the way of the Weirdwalkers: rogue magicians who wander the earth in search of endless power, fortune, and prestige. Using the world as their new text book, they are enrolled in classes of harsh reality. In Skelmata, it is commonsense to presume that a thing is illusory before you consider it real.
